DON'T NEGLECT THE WORD

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES **Don’t Neglect The Word** Saturday 18th June . Pastor Chris
Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life (Proverbs 4:13).
Imagine that you’re a student, and prior to your exams, your teacher gives you all the relevant textbooks and materials to study, points out the very chapters you should focus on, and even the questions to expect. What do you think of the student who says, “I really want to pass this exam, but I don’t have enough time to study?” He has set himself up for failure.
Likewise, in Christianity, we’re in life’s exam; the Holy Spirit, our Teacher, has given us the Word, and He’s shown us how to use it. He’s told us that every problem that’s going to be solved, and every question that’ll be answered, is in the Word. Nothing outside it is coming your way; therefore, study it, understand it, live by it, and you’ll be a success.
However, if someone says, “I want to please God, and do His will. I want to be everything He destined me to be, but my problem is that I really don’t have the time to study the Bible.” That’s like the student we described earlier. Only one outcome can result from such an attitude: failure. You must study and give the Word of God attention in your life. How would you please Him, and be a success in life, if you aren’t acquainted with His Word?
The Word of God is God’s instruction manual for an extraordinary life of glory. It’s the only dependable material to build you up, and sustain you in the transcendent life. So, don’t neglect the Word. The best way to serve God, and be an extraordinary success in life, is to function in, and live according to His Word.
Jesus said, “...he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him” (John 8:29). If you’ll diligently and meditatively study the Word, you’ll know the mind of the Father; His heart will be unveiled to you, and by walking in His light, you can always please Him.
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the transforming power of your Word in my life. As I study your Word, my mind is renewed; I’m transformed and transfigured, positioned in your glory. I continually make progress, and my advancement, profiting and growth are evident to all, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

EQUIPPED FOR THE MANDATE

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES **Equipped For The Mandate** Tuesday 14th June . Pastor Chris
For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established (Romans 1:11).
Hosea 12:13 tells us that “...by a prophet the LORD brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved.” Notice, He didn’t say, “...by an angel,” but “...by a prophet.” God preserves or establishes His people through His servants; His chosen and anointed ministers. He equips them and sends them to those He wants to bless. Ephesians 4:11-12 says, “And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.”
This lets us know why Paul could affirm boldly in his letter to the believers in Rome, “...I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift to the end ye may be established” (Romans 1:11). He knew he was a custodian of divine verities; he knew he had something to give.
One of the reasons there’re weak Christians today is that they never received any spiritual impartation. Read again, the reason Paul said he wanted to impart some spiritual gifts to the brethren in Rome; it was so they might be established. Through the ministry of the Word, and impartation of the Spirit, God’s people are strengthened and established on the
truth.
1 Corinthians 4:20 says, “For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.” The Gospel is more than mere words; its power must be demonstrated. Paul said in 1 Corinthians 2:4, “And my speech and my preaching was not
with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power.” So, as Christians, and as ministers of the Gospel, we have something with which to bless and transform our world. We’re dispensers of God’s blessings.
God has endowed you with grace and special abilities according to His own will, and according to His calling on your life. He’s equipped you for what He called you to do. You have what it takes. Therefore, do something with what you have. 2 Corinthians 4:7 says, “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels....” Do something with the anointing; in ministering to others, do so in the power of the Holy Ghost!
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for giving me a perfect heart that responds to your Word. As I receive your Word, my heart is imparted with spiritual gifts and I’m duly equipped to do great exploits through the Gospel of Christ, to your praise and glory, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

PSALM 27, FROM THE MESSAGE BIBLE

Psalm 27The Message (MSG)

A David Psalm

27 Light, space, zest—
    that’s God!
So, with him on my side I’m fearless,
afraid of no one and nothing.
    When vandal hordes ride down
    ready to eat me alive,
Those bullies and toughs
    fall flat on their faces.
When besieged,
    I’m calm as a baby.
When all hell breaks loose,
    I’m collected and cool.
I’m asking God for one thing,
    only one thing:
To live with him in his house
    my whole life long.
I’ll contemplate his beauty;
    I’ll study at his feet.
That’s the only quiet, secure place
    in a noisy world,
The perfect getaway,
far from the buzz of traffic.
God holds me head and shoulders
above all who try to pull me down.
I’m headed for his place to offer anthems
    that will raise the roof!
Already I’m singing God-songs;
    I’m making music to God.
7-9 Listen, God, I’m calling at the top of my lungs:
“Be good to me! Answer me!”
When my heart whispered, “Seek God,”
    my whole being replied,
“I’m seeking him!”
    Don’t hide from me now!
9-10 You’ve always been right there for me;
don’t turn your back on me now.
Don’t throw me out, don’t abandon me;
you’ve always kept the door open.
My father and mother walked out and left me,
    but God took me in.
11-12 Point me down your highway, God;
    direct me along a well-lighted street;
show my enemies whose side you’re on.
Don’t throw me to the dogs,
those liars who are out to get me,
filling the air with their threats.
13-14 I’m sure now I’ll see God’s goodness
    in the exuberant earth.
Stay with God!
    Take heart. Don’t quit.
I’ll say it again:
    Stay with God.

PSALM 23, FROM THE MESSAGE BIBLE

Psalm 23The Message (MSG)

A David Psalm

23 1-3 God, my shepherd!
    I don’t need a thing.
You have bedded me down in lush meadows,
you find me quiet pools to drink from.
True to your word,
you let me catch my breath
and send me in the right direction.
Even when the way goes through
    Death Valley,
I’m not afraid
when you walk at my side.
Your trusty shepherd’s crook
    makes me feel secure.
You serve me a six-course dinner
right in front of my enemies.
You revive my drooping head;
    my cup brims with blessing.
Your beauty and love chase after me
    every day of my life.
I’m back home in the house of God
for the rest of my life.

THE WORD IS YOUR REFLECTION

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES **The Word Is Your Reflection** Thursday 9th June . Pastor Chris
But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves (James 1:22).
The Word of God is for us to live by; it’s for doing; it’s for us to live out. But some Christians are trying to “obey” the Word, and that’s where their problem is, because the Word isn’t for us to obey. In the Old Testament, God gave the children of Israel laws, commandments to obey, but they failed. So, He changed the order. He said, “...I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people” (Jeremiah 31:33).
As a result, in the New Testament, you’re not called to obey the Word, because you’re born of the Word; you’re one with the Word. The Word of God is your reflection, a mirror that shows you who you are, so that you can know and act accordingly. We hear, study, understand, and meditate on the Word, to act accordingly.
2 Corinthians 3:18 says, “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image....” When you look into the Word, you see yourself. The Word mirrors you. For example, the Word says, “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him” (2 Corinthians 5:21). That’s not for you to “obey”; it’s simply showing you who you are: the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. It therefore makes no difference that your senses tell you otherwise; God already showed you who you are; act accordingly. That’s doing the Word: accepting, and endorsing God’s image of you, and walking in that light.
When you look in the mirror of God, which is the Word, you see the glory of God, and that’s you! The more you look into the Word, the more you become what you see in the Word; a transformation takes place in your life, from glory to glory. Hallelujah!
PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the impact of your Word in my life. Your Word is the reflection of your immense glory deposited in my spirit. As I look into that mirror, I’m transformed into the same image that I see, from glory to glory, by your Spirit, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Further Study: || James 1:22-25 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. 23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: 24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. 25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. ||

FOOD FOR THOUGHT

Lack is rooted in discord. Discord is when one harbors negative thoughts and feelings towards others. Those who think and speak well of others excel at what they do.
Examine those who struggle to get results and you will find a discordant spirit. At the base of their being lies this attitude of opposition to the mainstream of blessed people. A rather harsh spirit.

WORDS OF WISDOM

Its a shameful thing when someone from your "cell" who came from the same context in life as you, breaks through against all odds and instead of celebrating that, you turn around and attack him/her.
A successful person from your "cell" doesn't take away your own chances to succeed but God through him is simply showing you the thoughts and ideas you should adopt to make it. He is only a forerunner.

SANCTIFICATION

SANCTIFICATION
Anytime I think about this word “sanctification’’ I always remember vividly the vision I had in the bus on my way from Abuja in to Lagos in Nigeria on the 26th of April 1999. I came to Abuja from warri in Delta state Nigeria with my son David and we were on our way to Lagos after a few days in Abuja and as soon as our bus took off to Lagos in the night journey I suddenly was translated into an arena, where were women who were tattered dress, and covered with mud and I saw also many of them coming out from the gutter and their faces were wrinkled and painfully in a grimace and lord said to me in a very clear voice, “I AM SENDING YOU TO OPEN THEIR EYES, AND TO TURN THEM FROM THE POWER OF SATAN UNTO GOD, THAT THEY MAY RECEIVE FORGIVENESS OF SINS, AND INHERITANCE AMONG THEM WHICH ARE SANCTIFIED BY FAITH THAT IS IN ME’’. Then after I began to prayerfully ask the Holy Spirit to enlighten me move on the word of sanctification. I discovered that sanctification means set apart, separated for Gods purpose, begotten of the spirit of Holiness, those that are made one with Christ. I discovered from the Holy Spirit that it is the elemental forces of nature, that muddied those women, and made them bowed to the earth, and not necessarily their sir, so I was mandated to turn them from darkness to light by opening their eyes of understanding. This is the prayer Paul prayed in the book of Eph1:16-18 “Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers that the God of our lord Jesus Christ, the father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Hi, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened. That you may know what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.’’ So you can see that these people were robbed of their ignorance and a sense of guilt in their conscience and this is the pathetic picture of the generality of humanity, so that sanctification becomes the pre-requisite for them to enter into their inheritance.
This was clearly seen from this scriptural insight in Act20:32 “And now brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.’’ You must agree with me that you’re accessing your level of sanctification, and a point of note her which is also seen from the word is needed for our sanctification, and this sanctification is based on the faith of our lord Jesus Christ and not ours. Jn17:17 “Sanctify them through the truth thy word is truth.’’ Again jn15:3 “Now ye are clean through the word that I have spoken unto you.’’ You can also see from these two scriptures that it is the revelation of the word you see and the word that is also given a voice that sanctifies and cleanses.
This is given credence by this insight in Eph5:25-26 “Husbands, love your wives as Christ also loved the church and gave himself for it, that He might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of the water by the word.’’ So it is the water dimension of the word that actually cleanses and sanctifies, thus lifting up your standard. So to really access your inheritance, you must be a word addict. Just as was stated in the book of Col3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing ne another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the lord.’’ Our level of word intake determines our spiritual standard which is the actual purpose of sanctification.
This is exactly what the writer of Acts 20:32 meant when he said “I commend u to God and to the word of His grace which is able to lift up your spiritual standard and give you your inheritance among the one who are sanctified? And prophet Ezekiel stated thus Ez2:2 “The spirit enters into me when he spoke to me and set me upon my feet that I heard him that spoke unto Me.’ when you are sanctified by the entrance of the word, you are cleansed, regenerated, refined, reenergized, reinvigorated, activated and empowered to action, which is what is principally required to laying hold on your inheritance in Christ. This is a very good scriptural picture of what sanctification is all about. Act14:8-10 “And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mothers womb, who never had walked, the same heard about Paul speak, who steadfastly beholding him and perceiving that he had faith to be healed, said with a loud voice stand upright on thy feet: and leaped and walked.’’ He leaped up and walked because he had been satisfied by the word and every form of darkness that hither to held him bound was shattered by the entrance of the word, light penetrated in his inside and he must have concluded in his mind oh I see! I am not to be pitied, but to be envied, I am not meant to be a cripple but to be on my feet, the intensity of thought permitted the environment that Paul perceived it, and just one word of command, stand upright, the man did not stand up leaped up. When you compare this story to the episode of Act3:6-7 when Peter healed another cripple will see the difference “And Peter said silver and gold have I none, but such as I have, give I unto you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk, and he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up and immediately his feet and ankles bones received strength’’. The cripple needed extra support to operate in faith because he had not been spoken to y the word, so he was not yet sanctified. You can see that Jesus said in the book of John chapter jn15:3-8, he said you are sanctified by the word I have spoken to you, and it enabled you to abide in me because the same word that lifted you up your standard will abide in you, and in that case you are guaranteed answers to your prayers; and God the father, the custodian of our inheritance will be glorified that you truthfully receive your inheritance. I SEE YOU ENTER YOUR FULL KINGDOM HERITAGE OF BILLIONS IN ALL ACCEPTABLE CURRENCIES IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST.I SEE YOU LIVE A SUCCESSFUL AND FULFILLED MARITAL LIFE, I SDEE YOU AT THE HEAD OF YOUR PROFFESSION, CAREER, AND ALL THE PURSUIT OF YOUR LIFE ENDEAVORS, IN JESUS CHRISMOST POWERFUL NAME OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, AMEN..In Mal3:1-3 “behold i will send my servant, messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me (by the spoken word, that will lift up your standard and sanctify you) and the lord whom you seek shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom you delight in, behold he shall come, saith the lord of host, and who may abide at his coming? And who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner fire and like fuller soap, and he shall sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver, and he shall purify the sons of Levi and putge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the lord an offering in righteousness; then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the lord, as in the days of old, as in the former years” For your offering to accepted, as an offering in righteousness, it must come from a sanctified vessel who were sanctified by the purifying ,refining, and the purging effect of the word of grace of the messenger of the covenant, in whose mouth God in His wisdom has the word to become both fire and hammer. And as your offering is regarded as an offering in righteousness, it becomes a sweet savor unto the Lord, and the moment divinity is pleased all the heaven Glory becomes your lot in your inheritance and divine presence will visit humanity. And when divinity visits humanity, every form of captivity is totally broken and destroyed. Mal3:5-6 “and I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and the adulterers, and against false swearing and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless and that turn aside the stranger from His right and fear not me, saith the lord of host. For I am the lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.’’ This is the effect of the word that spoken by an anointed vessel to the people and as they respond with their willful, cheerfully packed and bountifully given offering, it is recorded in heaven as an offering in righteousness which ultimately provokes divine visitation. Let’s examine this scripture for brighter light and cleaner understanding from the book of 2Cor9:6-10 “but this I say, he that soweth sparingly shall also reap sparingly and he that soweth bountifully shall also reap bountifully: Every man according as he has purposed in his heart, so let him give not grudgingly or of necessity for God loveth a cheerful giver and God is able to maker all grace abound towards you; that ye always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work (as it is written, He had given to the poor, his righteousness endureth forever.) Now He that ministered seed to the sower both minister bread for your food and multiply your seed sown and increase the food of your righteousness.’’ I will just rephrase all these verses before explaining the rest. “As it is written he has dispersed abroad with understanding, because he has been taught the knowledge of seed and harvest, and so he has been sanctified, willing, cheerfully, and in bountifulness he has sown his seed, and given to the poor and this he did with grace which comes from knowledge. 2Pt1:2 “peace and grace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God and our lord Jesus Christ.’’ And as it’s done this way willingly, God begins to multiply your fruits of righteousness, otherwise known as your harvest and kingdom inheritance. This was said of Abel in Heb11:4 “by faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of His gifts: and by it, he being dead, yet speaketh.’’ That even when he was dead, God was testifying of his gifts and his voice was still being heard even after he was dead. This is the increase of the fruit of his righteousness. Until your offering, sacrifice and seeds meets this standard, it is worthless in heaven and as soon as it melts this standard it will surely speak on your behalf in heaven. This what made God to step down in Mal3:5, to judge the country situations and circumstances and turn all of them into our favor and that is the main reason why the congregation of the assembly where the revelation of prosperity and wealth is taught, are more prosperity than In other places where this message and insight of the truth shared on the pulpit, has sanctified the people, given them knowledge and understanding on the subject of kingdom heritage, and therefore grace for giving is a product of this knowledge is released therefore they prosper more.
The only way you can escape the corruption that is characteristic of this season as epitomized by the teachings and preachings of so many Pastor that preaches fear instead of faith at this season of the year which is known as the EMBER MONTHS which is the most dreaded of all months of the year because of the unleashing of the fangs and fiery darts of the devil, which results into untimely, ely deaths, through accidents, and other means through mishaps, pains and anguish is unleashed upon mankind by the Devil and his agents. But they easily forget that the good Lord said in the book of Ps65:7-3, that at this season He visits the earth, waters it, for summer and then He crowns the year with His goodness, and His paths drip with fatness, and because the massage is so popular, and widely accepted by the deceived elect, these terrorizing things tend to to keep happening much more especially at this time of the year and on a wider and much more spread scale . But children , sons and daughters of the most high God, in have good news for you, and that is that you need to realize the beauty of what our Lord Jesus Christ secured for us on the cross , in His death, and His resurrection. and of which is that we are sanctified am\nd after that we are translated into the heavenly realm where the devil has no reach, ref Eph1:16-23, Eph2:6-8;18;19. Col112-13, Col2:10-14:14-19. Col3:1-3, Sons and daughters of the most high God it is your heavenly consciousness that will ultimately deliver you from all the fiery darts of the devil at the same time of the year . you are lifted and translated after you were sanctified, and you are hidden in Christ who is also hidden in God.therefore you are not visible to the enemy, for you are LIKE THE WIND WHICH MEN ONLY FEEL THE EFFECT BUT COULD NOT TELL WHERE THEY ARE GOING TO OR EVEN WHERE THEY ARE COMING FROM.

Col3:1-3, Sons and daughters of the most high God it is your heavenly consciousness that will ultimately deliver you from all the fiery darts of the devil at the same time of the year . you are lifted and translated after you were sanctified, and you are hidden in Christ who is also hidden in God.therefore you are not visible to the enemy, for you are LIKE THE WIND WHICH MEN ONLY FEEL THE EFFECT BUT COULD NOT TELL WHERE THEY ARE GOING TO OR EVEN WHERE THEY ARE COMING FROM.,.. OUR CALLING TO GOD'S KINGDOM AND GLORY

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES
WEDNESDAY, 8TH JUNE, 2016
PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME.
THEME: OUR CALLING TO GOD'S KINGDOM AND GLORY.
That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory (1 Thessalonians 2:12).
The statement, “Thy kingdom come...” in Matthew 6:10 were the words of the Lord Jesus, in giving His disciples a format for prayer. That prayer has however been answered, for the Kingdom of God has come. It’s a real kingdom operating now on earth, and we’re a part of it: “But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem...” (Hebrews 12:22).
We’re not on our way to Zion; we’re there now. The Bible says the Father “...hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son” (Colossians 1:13). We’ve been called into the Kingdom of God, but according to our opening verse, our calling isn’t only about the Kingdom. We’ve been called unto His glory! These two aren’t separate: if we answered the calling for the Kingdom, we’ve answered the calling for the glory: “Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ” (2 Thessalonians 2:14).
You were called to obtain glory. Hallelujah. This glory is an eternal one, meaning that difficult times may come, but they don’t suggest in any way, the termination of your glory. That a Christian lost his job, for instance, doesn’t mean he’s out of the glory. This glory is eternal: “But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish,
strengthen, settle you” (1 Peter 5:10). Blessed be God!
God’s desire is for the good news about His Kingdom to have free course and be glorified, not only in you, but also in your town, city, and country: “Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you” (2 Thessalonians 3:1). Give expression to His glory in your world. Spread the good news of Christ’s salvation. Let the world know that salvation in Christ Jesus is a calling to God’s Kingdom of glory, excellence, dominion and power.
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the calling I have in you: a calling to your Kingdom and to eternal glory. I walk in the consciousness and reality of my present-hour location in Christ, and His glory within me. I manifest this glory to the praise of your Majesty, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

YOU HAVE ENOUGH

Arm of the Lord Church Daily Life
(Genesis CHAPTER 33 - END)
Date: TUESDAY, June 7, 2016
Topic: You have enough
Key Verse: Gen. 32:26
"And Esau said, I have enough, my brother; keep that you have to yourself." (KJV)
Jacob got his father's blessing but have no peace of mind to enjoy them. Exiled for many years in search of shelter and greener pasture when he has a home to call his own and a roof over his head. That's what you get when you take grace for granted and live a lying and cheating lifestyle. But Esau, less-blessed, without birth-right had more than enough within a space of time because, he had peace of mind, felt at home and he prospered beyond expectations. Being a covenant child doesn't give you the bragging right to sin, repent, before its too late. You must be holy because without holiness no eye shall see the Lord.
"I have enough" means I am exceedingly blessed and rich enough to even cater for you. I am not begging for food and I don't need your riches. It's not pride, it's who I am.
I prophesy to nigerians who's economy has crippled their plans and programs this year, your story must change for good. There's a change from good to bad and there's another change from bad to good. Anyone that the devil has planned to cripple his economy, with Nigerian government as an excuse, you shall look into the enemy's face, eye ball to eye ball and declare to God's glory; I have enough. Keep your job, I don't need it.
You will not go down this year in your business, career, ministry and family because God is giving you an idea that will change your story for good. An unusual door is being open for you, receive the inspiration and insight to visualise and the wisdom to actualise that opportunity right now.
"When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is a lifting up; and he shall save the humble person."(Job 22:29)
You shall have enough in the midst of scarcity for there's plenty of wealth and riches inside of you, you have more than enough inside of you. There's a gift or hidden talent that's about to explode from you. It's time to stop looking outward, stop depending on government, uncles, godfathers, start looking inwards, there's a deposit of God inside of you. There's Christ in there to bless and prosper you. YOU HAVE ENOUGH!
PRAYER:-
Oh Lord, open my eyes to see what jewels you loaded inside of me to utilise the opportunities around me in Jesus name - Amen!
Have a great day!

I'M EXCELLENT, BY CSO

THINK BEYOND YOURSELF

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES **Think Beyond Yourself ** Tuesday 7th June . Pastor Chris
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us (Ephesians 3:20).
Our opening verse shows that there’s power working in us; power from within. It’s the power of the Holy Spirit. You can make that power work for you every time. The onus is on you to put it to work, for it’s in your spirit. 2 Timothy 1:6 says, “...Stir up the gift of God, which is in thee....”
We see a demonstration or release of this kind of power from the Master Himself in Matthew chapter fourteen. A great multitude had thronged Him, and He was moved with compassion towards them, and He ministered to them and healed many who were sick and afflicted. However, when it was evening, His disciples suggested He dismiss the crowd: “...It is already very late, and this is a lonely place. Send the people away and let them go to the villages to buy food for themselves” (Matthew 14:15 GNB), they urged Him.
Now, something remarkable happened. Instead of sending the people away, Jesus commanded them to sit on the grass, and took five loaves of bread and two fishes, blessed them, broke them and gave them to His disciples to feed the multitude. He put the power in Him in use, to bless others.
Always, you must think beyond yourself. If you’re only concerned about yourself, and all you want is to please yourself, the power in you may never work. God’s power is given to you for the Kingdom of God, for you to be a blessing to your world. You’re the vent of God’s glory and power, His outstretched hands of blessing to your world; never forget it.
You’ll discover greater treasures the Lord has deposited in you as you reach out to help others. Understand your calling as a conduit of divine blessings. That’s what brings real joy and fulfilment —thinking beyond yourself to impact the lives of others positively.
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for making me a conduit of divine blessings. You’ve blessed me and made me a vent for your grace, mercies, wisdom, glory and power, to the praise of your majesty. Your light shines through me today, ever so brightly, and your power is manifest to bring succour, delight, and joy to many in my world today, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Further Study: || Philippians 2:3-4 MSG Don't push your way to the front; don't sweet-talk your way to the top. Put yourself aside, and help others get ahead. 4 Don't be obsessed with getting your own advantage. Forget yourselves long enough to lend a helping hand. ||
|| Romans 15:1-3 We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves. 2 Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification. 3 For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me. ||

HE REIGNS THROUGH YOU

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES **HE REIGNS THROUGH YOU** Friday 3rd June . Pastor Chris
For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ (Romans 5:17).
You were born, predestined, and assigned to reign in this life. Revelation 5:10 says Christ has made us “...kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.” Then interestingly, in 1 Corinthians 15:25, we read that “...he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.”
Jesus isn’t physically present in the earth today, yet He’s reigning through those who “receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness.” The only way He reigns is when we reign through righteousness. The understanding of the doctrine of righteousness makes us masters in life. It gives you the sense of dominion, such that nothing moves you; you’re in charge, and in control of circumstances. You make things happen!
Righteousness is God’s nature, and that nature was imparted to you when you were born again. Therefore, exercise dominion. Live as the king that you are. Don’t talk as though you’re of this world. Refuse to fear. Speak with authority, for all of nature is under a sovereign decree to hear and respond to you. Refuse to beg, for kings don’t beg.
You don’t even have to beg God for anything or to do anything for you; pray in accordance with His Word and make decrees in the Name of Jesus. Dominate your environment and take charge of the circumstances of your life. Boldly affirm prosperity, divine health, and progress for you and your loved ones, and you’d see them come to pass.
Your words have power, for you’re a king: “Where the word of a king is, there is power...” (Ecclesiastes 8:4). Even now, declare, “I function with the Spirit of dominion! Christ reigns through me! His righteousness is expressed through me today. The world is subdued before me. Blessed be God!”
CONFESSIONGlory to God in the highest, I’ve received grace to reign and rule in life as a king. Therefore, I exercise dominion over circumstances. I manifest the glory of God and I declare prosperity, health, progress, glory, divine favours, and peace for me and my loved ones. The Word of God prevails and produces results in me today and always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

APPRECIATE WHO YOU ARE

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES THURSDAY, 2ND JUNE.
APPRECIATE WHO YOU ARE.
That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus (Philemon 1:6).
As a new creation in Christ Jesus, you’re peculiar; you’re the first and the best of God’s creatures: “Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures” (James 1:18). You’re the crowning beauty, and the highest of everything God made. You’re His excellently crafted masterpiece (Ephesians o2:10).
Psalm 139:14 says you’re exceptional, and wonderfully
made; you’re God’s marvellous work of art; and the Psalmist said, “My soul knows this very well!” You should know it too and be conscious that you’re God’s best. Therefore, love and enjoy yourself. Appreciate who you are. Don’t wish you were someone else.
There’re so many good things inside you. You’re a pearl of great value. If you don’t love yourself, you can’t really love anyone else. Don’t wait for others to compliment you; stand in front of a mirror and appreciate what God made. Compliment yourself. Affirm that you’re beautiful, and then, give God praise for making you so excellent and full of glory. Look at yourself in the mirror and say, “Lord, I love what you made!”
Understand that you exude His glory. Therefore, love Him, and love what He made—YOU. Enjoy every moment of your life. Look always at the positive side of things. Appreciate good things everywhere you see them. Appreciate you, and then appreciate others around you. Challenge your mind in the positive direction of life; and you’ll be amazed at the results.
You’re God’s number one! This is what you should say to yourself always. Never judge yourself by what people say about you; what matters is what God thinks of you. And you know what? He thinks highly of you, which is why He invested so much in you. Glory to His Name forever!
PRAYER
Dear heavenly Father, righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne; love and faithfulness go before you. Thank you for making me the expression of your glory and grace, and for adorning my heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit! O, what a joy to know that I’m your excellently crafted masterpiece! I’ll tell of your wonderful deeds and wondrous love always. Amen!
