YOU CAN HEAR HIM EVERYDAY, PASTOR CHRIS

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES **You Can Hear Him Every Day** Wednesday, December 23rd . Pastor Chris
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness…(2 Timothy 3:16-17).
Many people have problems in their lives because they don’t listen to the Holy Spirit; they ignore His counsel. They make important decisions, without ever consulting with the Spirit. Some are in a quagmire; but if they’d be yielded to the Spirit, all the misery in their lives will be gone. God is interested in you being successful in every area of your life. He cares about the minutest detail of your life. It’s therefore important that you seek His counsel in all things.
The most beautiful part of it is that you can hear His voice every day. He always wants to talk to you, and does talk to you actually, even more than you want to hear His voice. The problem is that many ignore His voice, and some don’t even know when He speaks.
Now, understand this: Listening to the Holy Spirit doesn’t mean you’re necessarily going to have a specific word from Him every day; the complete Word is already given to you. He already gave you the complete message in the Bible. That’s our instruction manual for life. For you to hear Him every day, you have to study the Bible, and as you do, you’d become more acquainted with Him, and familiar with His voice. Remember, He’s the author of the Holy Scriptures.
The secret to success in life is hearing God’s voice, and acting on His instructions. You must learn to respond to Him the right way and promptly too! The Lord Jesus said in John 10:27, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.” Now, observe what He says happens to those who hear His voice: “…I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand” (John 10:28).
The Lord is protective of those who hear Him; those who receive His instructions and act accordingly. Give attention to the Word in your life. Don’t ignore His instructions, for they’re your life (Proverbs 4:13).
PRAYER
Dear Lord, your Word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. As I study your Word today, your perfect will is unveiled to my spirit; wisdom comes to me, propelling me to act accordingly. My ears are anointed to hear you, and my mind is anointed to understand the mysteries of the Kingdom, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Further Study: || Job 33:14 For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not. ||
|| Proverbs 8:4-10 Unto you, O men, I call; and my voice is to the sons of man. 5 O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart. 6 Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips shall be right things. 7 For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination to my lips. 8 All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them. 9 They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge. 10 Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold. ||
|| Psalm 1:1-3 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. ||

FROM CHRIST EMBASSY

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES FRIDAY, 18TH DECEMBER.
YOUR LABOUR IN THE GOSPEL ISN'T IN VAIN!
And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life (Matthew 19:29).
There’s something about those who are passionate about the Gospel; their life is full of glory. When you’re burning for the Lord, Satan may try to unleash terror against you from all sides, but you’ll always remain invincible, because the Lord Himself is your defence and shield.
Consider what He said to Paul: “Then spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace: For I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee: for I have much people in this city” (Acts 18:9-10). He said, “I’ve got a lot of people for you to reach, so I need you and because of that, no one can harm you.” The Lord is committed to those who are committed to His number one job—soul winning! He becomes your defence, and ensures your needs are met, when you’re sold-out to the Gospel.
The Gospel is God’s number one priority. It’s so important to Him that He sent His Son to die for the world. Nothing else in the world is worth living for; nothing else is worth your commitment, save the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Once you’ve keyed into this and become a pillar of the Gospel, you literally become God’s headquarters, His centre of operations, characterized by angelic activities and manifestations! Angels are under instruction to make sure everything you need is made available to you, when you’re an ardent soul-winner.
Peter once considered all that he and the other apostles had sacrificed and given up to follow the Lord. In Matthew 19:27 he said, “...Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore?” Like Peter, there’re those who sometimes wonder what they stand to gain from all the sacrifices they put into ensuring the Gospel reaches the ends of the earth. Read again the Master’s response to Peter: “And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life” (Matthew 19:29).
Your labour of love for the Master is never in vain. Stand firm therefore, and be afire for the Gospel, for it’s the power of God unto salvation.
PRAYER
Dear Lord, I thank you for the opportunity and blessing of being a soul-winner. I’m relevant in turning many unto righteousness; it’s my calling; it’s my life; and I’m fulfilling this dream every day, in the Name of Jesus. Amen.
Further Study:
1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
Galatians 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.

Isaiah 45, From The Message Bible

Isaiah 45The Message (MSG)

The God Who Forms Light and Darkness

45 1-7 God’s Message to his anointed,
to Cyrus, whom he took by the hand
To give the task of taming the nations,
    of terrifying their kings—
He gave him free rein,
    no restrictions:
“I’ll go ahead of you,
    clearing and paving the road.
I’ll break down bronze city gates,
smash padlocks, kick down barred entrances.
I’ll lead you to buried treasures,
    secret caches of valuables—
Confirmations that it is, in fact, I, God,
the God of Israel, who calls you by your name.
It’s because of my dear servant Jacob,
    Israel my chosen,
That I’ve singled you out, called you by name,
and given you this privileged work.
And you don’t even know me!
I am God, the only God there is.
Besides me there are no real gods.
I’m the one who armed you for this work,
though you don’t even know me,
So that everyone, from east to west, will know
    that I have no god-rivals.
I am God, the only God there is.
I form light and create darkness,
I make harmonies and create discords.
I, God, do all these things.
8-10 “Open up, heavens, and rain.
Clouds, pour out buckets of my goodness!
Loosen up, earth, and bloom salvation;
    sprout right living.
    I, God, generate all this.
But doom to you who fight your Maker—
you’re a pot at odds with the potter!
Does clay talk back to the potter:
‘What are you doing? What clumsy fingers!’
Would a sperm say to a father,
‘Who gave you permission to use me to make a baby?’
Or a fetus to a mother,
‘Why have you cooped me up in this belly?’”
11-13 Thus God, The Holy of Israel, Israel’s Maker, says:
“Do you question who or what I’m making?
Are you telling me what I can or cannot do?
I made earth,
and I created man and woman to live on it.
I handcrafted the skies
and direct all the constellations in their turnings.
And now I’ve got Cyrus on the move.
I’ve rolled out the red carpet before him.
He will build my city.
He will bring home my exiles.
I didn’t hire him to do this. I told him.
    I, God-of-the-Angel-Armies.”
14 God says:
“The workers of Egypt, the merchants of Ethiopia,
    and those statuesque Sabeans
Will all come over to you—all yours.
Docile in chains, they’ll follow you,
Hands folded in reverence, praying before you:
    ‘Amazing! God is with you!
    There is no other God—none.’”

Look at the Evidence

15-17 Clearly, you are a God who works behind the scenes,
    God of Israel, Savior God.
Humiliated, all those others
will be ashamed to show their faces in public.
Out of work and at loose ends, the makers of no-god idols
won’t know what to do with themselves.
The people of Israel, though, are saved by you, God,
    saved with an eternal salvation.
They won’t be ashamed,
they won’t be at loose ends, ever.
18-24 God, Creator of the heavens—
    he is, remember, God.
Maker of earth—
he put it on its foundations, built it from scratch.
He didn’t go to all that trouble
to just leave it empty, nothing in it.
He made it to be lived in.
    This God says:
“I am God,
    the one and only.
I don’t just talk to myself
    or mumble under my breath.
I never told Jacob,
‘Seek me in emptiness, in dark nothingness.’
I am God. I work out in the open,
saying what’s right, setting things right.
So gather around, come on in,
    all you refugees and castoffs.
They don’t seem to know much, do they—
those who carry around their no-god blocks of wood,
praying for help to a dead stick?
So tell me what you think. Look at the evidence.
Put your heads together. Make your case.
Who told you, and a long time ago, what’s going on here?
Who made sense of things for you?
Wasn’t I the one? God?
It had to be me. I’m the only God there is—
The only God who does things right
    and knows how to help.
So turn to me and be helped—saved!—
everyone, whoever and wherever you are.
I am God,
the only God there is, the one and only.
I promise in my own name:
Every word out of my mouth does what it says.
I never take back what I say.
Everyone is going to end up kneeling before me.
Everyone is going to end up saying of me,
‘Yes! Salvation and strength are in God!’”
24-25 All who have raged against him
    will be brought before him,
    disgraced by their unbelief.
And all who are connected with Israel
will have a robust, praising, good life in God!

GENEALOGY AND BIRTH OF JESUS, BY MATTHEW

The Genealogy of Jesus
1The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.
2Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judas and his brethren; 3And Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar; and Phares begat Esrom; and Esrom begat Aram; 4And Aram begat Aminadab; and Aminadab begat Naasson; and Naasson begat Salmon; 5And Salmon begat Booz of Rachab; and Booz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse; 6And Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias; 7And Solomon begat Roboam; and Roboam begat Abia; and Abia begat Asa; 8And Asa begat Josaphat; and Josaphat begat Joram; and Joram begat Ozias; 9And Ozias begat Joatham; and Joatham begat Achaz; and Achaz begat Ezekias; 10And Ezekias begat Manasses; and Manasses begat Amon; and Amon begat Josias; 11And Josias begat Jechonias and his brethren, about the time they were carried away to Babylon:
12And after they were brought to Babylon, Jechonias begat Salathiel; and Salathiel begat Zorobabel; 13And Zorobabel begat Abiud; and Abiud begat Eliakim; and Eliakim begat Azor; 14And Azor begat Sadoc; and Sadoc begat Achim; and Achim begat Eliud; 15And Eliud begat Eleazar; and Eleazar begat Matthan; and Matthan begat Jacob; 16And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.
17So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations.
The Birth of Jesus
18Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. 19Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily. 20But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. 21And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. 22Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, 23Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. 24Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife: 25And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.

FROM CONVENANT CHRISTIAN CENTRE

Your tongue was designed to transfer the blessings of God's answer to prayers into the earth, when used to slander others it loses this ability.
It is with the tongue that pronouncements are made which sanctify earthly things. Words are used to secure divine assistance in times of need, this is jeopardized when you use it as a tool to diminish the image of God in others.
What can nullify the effect of your giving to the poor is to engage your tongue in the acts of revealing secrets, slander, gossip and causing emotional pain.

FROM CHRIST EMBASSY

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES TUESDAY, 15TH DECEMBER.
THE POWER OF THE GOSPEL.
To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me (Acts 26:18).
The Gospel of Jesus Christ, through the power of the Holy Spirit, opens men’s eyes to see the light of God. When the Word comes to a man, he receives vision; no wonder the Psalmist said, “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path” (Psalm 119:105). The first thing the Holy Spirit does to a sinner is to open his eyes, because until a man’s eyes are open spiritually, he remains in darkness.
Therefore, in praying for people in your environment, in your family, or in the regions beyond who are yet to know the Lord, intercede that their eyes be open to see! The power to open their eyes is the Gospel of Jesus Christ, communicated by the power of the Holy Spirit.
When they come to Christ, He opens their eyes; but that’s only the beginning; He continues to enlarge their vision of the kingdom through the Word. As they study the Word, hear, and learn more about Him, He further enlightens the eyes of their understanding, to know and walk in their heritage and inheritance in Christ.
Keep preaching the Gospel; there’s no salvation without the Gospel; the power of salvation is in the Gospel, and it works only for the person who believes; and that’s where you come in. The Bible says, “…how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?” (Romans 10:14). Do you see why you should have a burning heart to share the Gospel? You’re God’s agent of salvation, ordained to turn sinners from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God. Praise God!
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the power of the Gospel of Christ that grants me insight and foresight into the realities of the Kingdom. I walk in preordained pathways, conscious of my calling as a minister of reconciliation. I pray that today, the eyes of many around the world, who are in darkness will be open to the light of the Gospel, and they be turned from darkness to light, and into the glorious liberty of the sons of God, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Further Study:
Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
Acts 20:32 AMP And now [brethren], I commit you to God [I deposit you in His charge, entrusting you to His protection and care]. And I commend you to the Word of His grace [to the commands and counsels and promises of His unmerited favor]. It is able to build you up and to give you [your rightful] inheritance among all God’s set-apart ones (those consecrated, purified, and transformed of soul).

LIVE OUT HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS, BY PASTOR CHRIS

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES **Live Out His Righteousness** Friday, December 11th . Pastor Chris
…Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness…(Hebrews 1:8-9).
As a child of God, one thing you must do in your life is to sanctify yourself. You may be endowed with gifts, and great potentials, but you can’t run your gifts together with bad behaviour. And that’s one of the reasons some people can’t experience real spiritual growth.
If you want the anointing that promotes, lifts, and consistently keeps you at the top, and makes you untouchable, then you must love righteousness and hate iniquity. You can’t live in both. There has to be a consistency between the Gospel you believe and preach, and your life as a Christian. Where the consistency stops, is where your “blessings” stop. Then you find that things aren’t really working out in your life.
Even when things seem to be working for you, somehow, you’d find that your life isn’t glorious or honourable. You’re restless in your spirit, because things aren’t right between you and God. You’re grieving the Holy Spirit continually with your lifestyle, and you know it inside you. Fellowshipping with Him soon becomes a drag. Don’t let your life be like that. Live right and live for Him. Let this be an opportunity for you to change things.
Change that aspect of your life that doesn’t portray the character of Christ. Sometimes, this is all some people need to experience unprecedented growth and success in life, and see the power of the Spirit move in, and through, them gloriously.
Those that are closest to you should respect you, not just because there’s an anointing on your life. Rather, they should also respect and honour you because of the decency of your character. There’s a life of righteousness that’s consistent with God’s nature and ways of doing things; that’s the life we’ve been called to live. It’s a walk in righteousness.
PRAYER
Dear Lord, thank you for the gift of righteousness. My life is the demonstration of your righteousness as I’m the epistle of Christ, seen and read by all men! I testify that my life is for your glory; I’m pleasing you in all things and bearing fruits of righteousness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Further Study: || 2 Corinthians 3:2-3 Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men: 3 Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart. ||
|| 1 Thessalonians 5:22-23 Abstain from all appearance of evil. 23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. ||
|| Proverbs 11:5-6 The righteousness of the perfect shall direct his way: but the wicked shall fall by his own wickedness. 6 The righteousness of the upright shall deliver them: but transgressors shall be taken in their own naughtiness. ||

WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY, ABOUT FORNICATION ?

What does the Bible say?
1. 1 Corinthians 6:13-14 You say, “Food was made for the stomach, and the stomach for food.” (This is true, though someday God will do away with both of them.) But you can’t say that our bodies were made for sexual immorality. They were made for the Lord, and the Lord cares about our bodies. And God will raise us from the dead by his power, just as he raised our Lord from the dead.
2. 1 Corinthians 6:18-19 Run from sexual sin! No other sin so clearly affects the body as this one does. For sexual immorality is a sin against your own body. Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself,
3. 1 Thessalonians 4:3-4 God’s will is for you to be holy, so stay away from all sexual sin. Then each of you will control his own body and live in holiness and honor–
4. 1 Corinthians 5:9-11 When I wrote to you before, I told you not to associate with people who indulge in sexual sin. But I wasn’t talking about unbelievers who indulge in sexual sin, or are greedy, or cheat people, or worship idols. You would have to leave this world to avoid people like that. I meant that you are not to associate with anyone who claims to be a believer yet indulges in sexual sin, or is greedy, or worships idols, or is abusive, or is a drunkard, or cheats people. Don’t even eat with such people.

The sin of adultery!
5. Proverbs 6:32 He who commits adultery lacks sense; he who does it destroys himself.
6. Deuteronomy 22:22 “If a man is discovered committing adultery, both he and the woman must die. In this way, you will purge Israel of such evil.

Do not follow the ways of the world. Don’t allow ungodly friends to persuade you to sin!
7. Proverbs 1:15 My child, don’t go along with them! Stay far away from their paths.
8. Romans 12:2 Do not be conformed to this world, but continuously be transformed by the renewing of your minds so that you may be able to determine what God’s will is—what is proper, pleasing, and perfect.

Reminders
9. 1 John 2:3-4 And we can be sure that we know him if we obey his commandments. If someone claims, “I know God,” but doesn’t obey God’s commandments, that person is a liar and is not living in the truth.
10. Jude 1:4 I say this because some ungodly people have wormed their way into your churches, saying that God’s marvelous grace allows us to live immoral lives. The condemnation of such people was recorded long ago, for they have denied our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.

Warning
11. Jude 1:7-8 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
12. 1 Corinthians 6:9 Don’t you know that wicked people won’t inherit the kingdom of God? Stop deceiving yourselves! People who continue to commit sexual sins, who worship false gods, those who commit adultery, homosexuals, or thieves, those who are greedy or drunk, who use abusive language, or who rob people will not inherit the kingdom of God.
13. Revelation 22:15 Outside are dogs, sorcerers, sexual sinners, murderers, idolaters, and all who lie in what they say and what they do.

The believers in Corinth repented.
14. 1 Corinthians 6:11 Some of you were once like that. But you were cleansed; you were made holy; you were made right with God by calling on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

Walk by the Spirit
15. Galatians 5:16 So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves.
16. Galatians 5:25 Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives.

Avoid the devil’s schemes: Don’t even put yourself in a position where you can be tempted to sin because you will fall. Ex. Shacking up before marriage.
17. Ephesians 6:11-12 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
18 1 Thessalonians 5:22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.

Guard your heart
19. Matthew 15:19 It is out of the heart that evil thoughts come, as well as murder, adultery, sexual immorality, stealing, false testimony, and slander.
20. Proverbs 4:23 Above everything else guard your heart, because from it flow the springs of life.

Advice
21. 1 Corinthians 7:8-9 So I say to those who aren’t married and to widows—it’s better to stay unmarried, just as I am. But if they can’t control themselves, they should go ahead and marry. It’s better to marry than to burn with lust.
22. James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

Examples
23. 1 Corinthians 5:1-3 I can hardly believe the report about the sexual immorality going on among you—something that even pagans don’t do. I am told that a man in your church is living in sin with his stepmother. You are so proud of yourselves, but you should be mourning in sorrow and shame. And you should remove this man from your fellowship. Even though I am not with you in person, I am with you in the Spirit. And as though I were there, I have already passed judgment on this man
24. Revelation 18:2-3 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.
25. 2 Samuel 11:2-5 It happened, late one afternoon, when David arose from his couch and was walking on the roof of the king’s house, that he saw from the roof a woman bathing; and the woman was very beautiful. And David sent and inquired about the woman. And one said, “Is not this Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite?” So David sent messengers and took her, and she came to him, and he lay with her. Now she had been purifying herself from her uncleanness Then she returned to her house. And the woman conceived, and she sent and told David, “I am pregnant.”

THE SPIRIT OF WISDOM AND REVELATION, BY EVANG. OSITA

Arm of the Lord Church Daily Life (EPHESIANS 1:1 - end)
(SAT. 5TH DEC. 2015)
The Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation
Text: Eph. 1:17
"That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him."
What Jesus handed over to the believers is not doctrine but a spirit of truth as promised. "And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive...."(John 14:16-17).
The Holyspirit is a giver and one of the greatest gifts you can receive from him is the spirit of wisdom and revelation. Apostle Paul operated in this dimension of the spiritual gift, he was not necessarily as charismatic as Apostle Peter but made more impact than all the Apostles by writing two-third of new testament. His messages were full of insight and he inspired intellectuals and commoners with his deep revelational teaching.
This spirit is responsible for the revelation and understanding of the knowledge of truth, spiritual realities and mysteries of the kingdom of God. It also help us to apply and interpret the knowledge received from the word of God. Job first revealed this spirit in the old testament. "But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding"(Job 32:8). Also Daniel, "He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him"(Dan 2:22). This spirit distinguishes you in your generation because it enlightens the eyes of your understanding and vision to know the riches of God's glory as an eagle can see and soar beyond other birds that's how you see ahead of your peers. They say idea rules the world, this is the faculty of the holyghost responsible for the release of supernatural ideas.
However, the holyspirit rewards your love for God with this spirit just as Job, Daniel and Paul loved God beyond human imaginations(1st Cor. 2:9-10). It is this spirit that transforms a man into a generational pillar, so by the force of revelation, receive divine wisdom is impacted upon you now for exploit.
PRAYER:-
Heavenly Father, help me to love you more that my eyes of understanding may be opened in your knowledge in Jesus name - Amen!
Have an awesome day!

A SUPERNATURAL TEAM, BY EVANG. OSITA

Arm of the Lord Church Daily Life (EPHESIANS 4:1 - end)
(WED. 9TH DEC. 2015)
A Supernatural Team
Text: Eph. 4:11
"And he gave some, Apostles; and some, Prophets; and some, Evangelists; and some, Pastors and Teachers."
In every football team there are eleven players, a captain and a coach. And the team is further broken down into; the defence, the midfield and the attack. Notice here that the captain is not a different player altogether, he's part of the team but a distinguished member, A leader amongst them. It means that without the efforts of other players, he's incapacitated, so no team leader Lords over his team but must be a team player. Therefore, a team needs the collective effort of all players to achieve success.
The same principle is applicable to the body of Christ. As an organ, there must be a head with other important parts of the body in a healthy relationship in order to achieve supernatural results. It's a supernatural team put up together by the Coach to carry out divine assignments here on earth. The Coach is Christ or the General Overseer in the person of the holy Spirit. The Apostles becomes the Captain of the team and not the General Overseer, while the prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers are team players. What's their assignment? "For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ. Till we all come in the unity of faith...."(vs 12-13).
Christ set-up the leadership of his church in a unique way with the five-fold ministries that are compatible in One Spirit(vs 4). The number five connotes Grace numerologically, which is to say that the supernatural team can only function properly with the faith of one another in love(vs 15, 32). And is incomplete without one another, so make sure your ministry is developed in his grace in order not to paralyse or deform the work of the ministry. Without each other, we remain imperfect, that's why we need one another to grow into perfection both individually or collectively. We are a Supernatural team.
PRAYER;-
My heavenly father, help me to identify my calling in the ministry that I may edify the body of Christ unto perfection in Jesus name - Amen!
Have a Gracious day!

THE INWARD WITNESS, BY PASTOR CHRIS

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES **The Inward Witness** Wednesday, December 9th . Pastor Chris
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God (Romans 8:14).
God guides you through your spirit, and not your mind, and He seeks to lead you, primarily through the inward witness. This is the most important leading of the Spirit of God in your life and it’s available to every Christian.
Now, there’s a difference between the inward witness and the inward voice. Have you ever heard someone say, “Something told me to move from there; and as I moved forward, a terrible accident happened behind?” It’s not “something” speaking. That’s the inward voice; the voice of your spirit. When the inward voice talks to you, it’s a little authoritative. You could suddenly hear a voice from inside say, “Get up! Go and turn off the gas in the kitchen.” People have lost money, businesses, jobs etc., because they didn’t listen to that voice.
The inward witness, on the other hand, isn’t a voice, but a consciousness of guidance from your spirit. Imagine that you were contemplating going somewhere or buying a property; or maybe you had two jobs offered to you at the same time and you’re not sure which one to take. At such a time, what you need is to recognize the inward witness. How does the inward witness function?
You’ll discover that when you pray, a consciousness of joy wells up in your heart within the direction that God wants you to go. Sometimes, your head or mind may not agree, but the inward witness just bears witness within you that this is the direction. If for any reason, you consider going in the opposite direction, you’ll find a dampening of your spirit, not your mind. Each time you pray, the witness will come as though with hesitance and reluctance. That means it’s a “no.”
Some people have forced themselves to go against the inward witness, and they missed God. Some even wait for spectacular signs, saying, “Lord, if a dog barks at 3am from the right side of my compound, I’ll know it’s you.” God doesn’t lead us like that.
Through the Word and inward witness, the Holy Spirit leads and guides you from glory to glory. Train yourself to listen to the inward witness and the inward voice; it’ll save you from unnecessary problems in your life. You’ll have a glorious, successful and victorious life, if you’d learn to trust and follow the inward witness, and the inward voice.
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for guiding me in my spirit through the inward witness. I continually yield myself to your Spirit through the Word and prayer, thereby exercising my spirit to pick the signals from you always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

DIVINE CALENDAR, BY PASTOR VICTOR

DIVINE CALENDAR OF TEN Under the sun there is a time for every purpose, and understanding the time give us advantage in any issue of life that we are involved in. Ec 3:1 To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: 2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; 3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;17 I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.(KJV) Wisdom demands that we take time to understand the secret of God per seasons Ec 8:6 Because to every purpose there is time and judgment, therefore the misery of man is great upon him.7 For he knoweth not that which shall be: for who can tell him when it shall be? (KJV) It gives us advantage in taking certain decisions that will determine our destiny fulfillment. 1Ch 12:32 And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment.(KJV) Understanding divine timing helps us to know what we ought to do per time, and as we discover what to do per time, we will be in charge, and in command of the affairs of life in our generation. There is a significant insight on the Tenth as a divine time which is very important in our Christian journey to keep abreast of the relevant facts of divine timing in order to succeed with God in our ventures. Nu 14:22 Because all those men which have seen my glory, and my miracles, which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have tempted me now these ten times, and have not hearkened to my voice;(KJV). From creation till date, TEN has always been a very decisive number in the spiritual matters, and a clear understanding of this very truth will go a long way to give us an edge in the pursuit of God given visions and dreams. When God created man called Adam, the man missed Gods plan and ended up causing God to curse the earth for the sake of man, but it took the tenth man from the same Adam, called Enoch, to break the curse Ge 5:3 And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth: 6 And Seth lived an hundred and five years, and begat Enos: 9 And Enos lived ninety years, and begat Cainan: 12 And Cainan lived seventy years, and begat Mahalaleel: 15 And Mahalaleel lived sixty and five years, and begat Jared:18 And Jared lived an hundred sixty and two years, and he begat Enoch:(KJV) Enoch was the seventh person from Adam, and he pleased God and was translated unto heaven, Ge 5: 21 And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah: 24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him. 25 And Methuselah lived an hundred eighty and seven years, and begat Lamech: 28 And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son: 29 And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD hath cursed.(KJV) 1Ch 1:1 Adam, Sheth, Enosh, 2 Kenan, Mahalaleel, Jered, 3 Henoch, Methuselah, Lamech,4 Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.(KJV) And eventually Noah did the sacrifice that destroyed the curse upon the earth. Ge 8:20 And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar. 21 And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more everything living, as I have done. 22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.(KJV) A perfect principle that will last for eternity was established for humanity as a result of that sacrifice, which is that so long as the earth remains, seed time will always be followed by harvest time, winter will always give place to summer, and night will always give place today. And again from Noah to Abram was another ten generation, and we all know that Abram was the first father of faith, in the bible. Ge 11:10 These are the generations of Shem: Shem was an hundred years old, and begat Arphaxad two years after the flood: 12 And Arphaxad lived five and thirty years, and begat Salah: 14 And Salah lived thirty years, and begat Eber: 16 And Eber lived four and thirty years, and begat Peleg; 18 And Peleg lived thirty years, and begat Reu: 20 And Reu lived two and thirty years, and begat Serug: 22 And Serug lived thirty years, and begat Nahor: 24 And Nahor lived nine and twenty years, and begat Terah: 26 And Terah lived seventy years, and begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran. (KJV) And through Abraham God established the principle of faith, or rather the law of faith and this principle also became eternal, 1Ch 1:24 Shem, Arphaxad, Shelah, 25 Eber, Peleg, Reu, 26 Serug, Nahor, Terah, 27 Abram; the same is Abraham.(KJV) Even after the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ which birthed Christian faith, in the gentile world, there was so much persecution, but it took the tenth emperor of Rome Emperor Constantine to stop the persecution and gave permission under the law of Rome for Christian to practice their faith. Re 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.(KJV) And also when Jacob was in the house of Laban, and the Lord noticed that Laban cheated Jacob ten times before He intervened, Ge 31:1 And he heard the words of Laban's sons, saying, Jacob hath taken away all that was our father's; and of that which was our father's hath he gotten all this glory. 2 And Jacob beheld the countenance of Laban, and, behold, it was not toward him as before. 3 And the LORD said unto Jacob, Return unto the land of thy fathers, and to thy kindred; and I will be with thee. 4 And Jacob sent and called Rachel and Leah to the field unto his flock, 5 And said unto them, I see your father's countenance, that it is not toward me as before; but the God of my father hath been with me. 6 And ye know that with all my power I have served your father. 7 And your father hath deceived me, and changed my wages ten times; but God suffered him not to hurt me. 8 If he said thus, The speckled shall be thy wages; then all the cattle bare speckled: and if he said thus, The ringstraked shall be thy hire; then bare all the cattle ringstraked. 9 Thus God hath taken away the cattle of your father, and given them to me.10 And it came to pass at the time that the cattle conceived, that I lifted up mine eyes, and saw in a dream, and, behold, the rams which leaped upon the cattle were ringstraked, speckled, and grisled.(KJV) The first sign of Moses in Egypt Ex 7:10 And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and they did so as the LORD had commanded: and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his servants, and it became a serpent. 11 Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments. 12 For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods.(KJV) The Second sign; Ex 7:20 And Moses and Aaron did so, as the LORD commanded; and he lifted up the rod, and smote the waters that were in the river, in the sight of Pharaoh, and in the sight of his servants; and all the waters that were in the river were turned to blood. 21 And the fish that was in the river died; and the river stank, and the Egyptians could not drink of the water of the river; and there was blood throughout all the land of Egypt. 22 And the magicians of Egypt did so with their enchantments: and Pharaoh's heart was hardened, neither did he hearken unto them; as the LORD had said. (KJV) The third sign; Ex 8:6 And Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt; and the frogs came up, and covered the land of Egypt.7 And the magicians did so with their enchantments, and brought up frogs upon the land of Egypt. 8 Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said, Intreat the LORD, that he may take away the frogs from me, and from my people; and I will let the people go, that they may do sacrifice unto the LORD. 9 And Moses said unto Pharaoh, Glory over me: when shall I intreat for thee, and for thy servants, and for thy people, to destroy the frogs from thee and thy houses, that they may remain in the river only?10 And he said, Tomorrow. And he said, Be it according to thy word: that thou mayest know that there is none like unto the LORD our God.11 And the frogs shall depart from thee, and from thy houses, and from thy servants, and from thy people; they shall remain in the river only. 12 And Moses and Aaron went out from Pharaoh: and Moses cried unto the LORD because of the frogs which he had brought against Pharaoh. (KJV) The fourth sign; Ex 8:17 And they did so; for Aaron stretched out his hand with his rod, and smote the dust of the earth, and it became lice in man, and in beast; all the dust of the land became lice throughout all the land of Egypt. 18 And the magicians did so with their enchantments to bring forth lice, but they could not: so there were lice upon man, and upon beast. 19 Then the magicians said unto Pharaoh, This is the finger of God: and Pharaoh's heart was hardened, and he hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said.(KJV) The fifth sign; Ex 8:20 And the LORD said unto Moses, Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh; lo, he cometh forth to the water; and say unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Let my people go, that they may serve me. 21 Else, if thou wilt not let my people go, behold, I will send swarms of flies upon thee, and upon thy servants, and upon thy people, and into thy houses: and the houses of the Egyptians shall be full of swarms of flies, and also the ground whereon they are. 22 And I will sever in that day the land of Goshen, in which my people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there; to the end thou mayest know that I am the LORD in the midst of the earth. 23 And I will put a division between my people and thy people: tomorrow shall this sign be.{to 24 And the LORD did so; and there came a grievous swarm of flies into the house of Pharaoh, and into his servants' houses, and into all the land of Egypt: the land was corrupted by reason of the swarm of flies.(KJV) The sixth sign; Ex 9:2 For if thou refuse to let them go, and wilt hold them still, 3 Behold, the hand of the LORD is upon thy cattle which is in the field, upon the horses, upon the asses, upon the camels, upon the oxen, and upon the sheep: there shall be a very grievous murrain. 4 And the LORD shall sever between the cattle of Israel and the cattle of Egypt: and there shall nothing die of all that is the children's of Israel.5 And the LORD appointed a set time, saying, Tomorrow the LORD shall do this thing in the land 6 And the LORD did that thing on the morrow, and all the cattle of Egypt died: but of the cattle of the children of Israel died not one.(KJV) The seventh sign; Ex 9:10 And they took ashes of the furnace, and stood before Pharaoh; and Moses sprinkled it up toward heaven; and it became a boil breaking forth with blains upon man, and upon beast. 11 And the magicians could not stand before Moses because of the boils; for the boil was upon the magicians, and upon all the Egyptians. (KJV)) The eight sign; Ex 9:18 Behold, tomorrow about this time I will cause it to rain a very grievous hail, such as hath not been in Egypt since the foundation thereof even until now. 19 Send therefore now, and gather thy cattle, and all that thou hast in the field; for upon every man and beast which shall be found in the field, and shall not be brought home, the hail shall come down upon them, and they shall die. 20 He that feared the word of the LORD among the servants of Pharaoh made his servants and his cattle flee into the houses: 21 And he that regarded not the word of the LORD left his servants and his cattle in the field. 22 And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch forth thine hand toward heaven, that there may be hail in all the land of Egypt, upon man, and upon beast, and upon every herb of the field, throughout the land of Egypt.23 And Moses stretched forth his rod toward heaven: and the LORD sent thunder and hail, and the fire ran along upon the ground; and the LORD rained hail upon the land of Egypt.24 So there was hail, and fire mingled with the hail, very grievous, such as there was none like it in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation. 25 And the hail smote throughout all the land of Egypt all that was in the field, both man and beast; and the hail smote every herb of the field, and brake every tree of the field.26 Only in the land of Goshen, where the children of Israel were, was there no hail. (KJV) The ninth sign; Ex 10:12 And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the land of Egypt for the locusts, that they may come up upon the land of Egypt, and eat every herb of the land, even all that the hail hath left. 13 And Moses stretched forth his rod over the land of Egypt, and the LORD brought an east wind upon the land all that day, and all that night; and when it was morning, the east wind brought the locusts. 14 And the locusts went up over all the land of Egypt, and rested in all the coasts of Egypt: very grievous were they; before them there were no such locusts as they, neither after them shall be such. 15 For they covered the face of the whole earth, so that the land was darkened; and they did eat every herb of the land, and all the fruit of the trees which the hail had left: and there remained not any green thing in the trees, or in the herbs of the field, through all the land of Egypt.(KJV) The tenth sign; Ex 10:22 And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days: 23 They saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days: but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings. 24 And Pharaoh called unto Moses, and said, Go ye, serve the LORD; only let your flocks and your herds be stayed: let your little ones also go with you. 25 And Moses said, Thou must give us also sacrifices and burnt offerings, that we may sacrifice unto the LORD our God. 26 Our cattle also shall go with us; there shall not an hoof be left behind; for thereof must we take to serve the LORD our God; and we know not with what we must serve the LORD, until we come thither.(KJV)) By the tenth sign Egypt could not recover till date because before the three days darkness was over the children of Israel had sprinkled the blood, and the first sons had died, their gods had come under judgment, and the sons of Abraham crossed the red sea, which swallowed the first crop the finest soldiers in the world as at that time, and the history of Egypt changed forever, Beware of the sign of ten, because darkness will be unleashed upon the enemies that oppress you, and this judgment will be brought to the limelight, through the wisdom pillar of the atmosphere of heavenly Jerusalem, Jer 30:19 And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.20 Their children also shall be as aforetime, and their congregation shall be established before me, and I will punish all that oppress them. 21 And their nobles shall be of themselves, and their governor shall proceed from the midst of them; and I will cause him to draw near, and he shall approach unto me: for who is this that engaged his heart to approach unto me? saith the LORD. 22 And ye shall be my people, and I will be your God. 23 Behold, the whirlwind of the LORD goeth forth with fury, a continuing whirlwind: it shall fall with pain upon the head of the wicked. 24 The fierce anger of the LORD shall not return, until he have done it, and until he have performed the intents of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it. (KJV) Ps 149:1 Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints. 2 Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King. 3 Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp. 4 For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation. 5 Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds. 6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand; 7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; 8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; 9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.(KJV)) 2Th 1:6 Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;(KJV) Isa 49:24 Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered? 25 But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children. 26 And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob. (KJV) There is a praise that releases the judgment that is written against the kingdom of the enemy. This is known as mystery of seasonal praise that unleashes the weapons of God upon the kingdom of darkness.

And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified (Acts 20:32).
One very important thing you must do consciously as a Christian is to develop your spirit-nature and become more God-conscious in your daily walk. There’re Christians who aren’t God-conscious, even though they’re born again; they haven’t developed their spirits; they haven’t matured in their Christian walk. When you develop your spirit, you’ll never be afraid of anything; you’ll always be a victor. It makes no difference what happens with you or around you; you’ll always be on top.
Have you ever observed birds, and how they fly? Some can only fly at a certain height. A duck may fly higher and longer than a chicken, but it can’t sustain itself like a sparrow. And as fast and as wonderfully a sparrow may fly, it can never fly as high as an eagle and sustain itself in the air. It’s like airplanes too; some can only fly between thirty to thirty-eight thousand feet above sea level. Some can fly at forty thousand feet, and can’t go higher, no matter how they try. But some can fly at sixty thousand feet.
Spiritually, it’s the same. Some Christians are “flying” very high. Some want to fly high but they can’t, because they haven’t developed their spirit-life for that level; so, when trouble strikes, they’re overwhelmed and rattled by the turbulence. But the one who has developed his spirit, soars like an eagle; he has the “speed” and “lift” to go above turbulence. It makes no difference what your present situation is; if you’d develop your spirit, you’ll always rise above the turbulence. How do you develop your spirit?
God tells us in Joshua 1:8 to meditate on His Word. That’s the secret for training and developing your spirit for success. That’s how you programme your spirit for the triumphant life of ever-increasing glory. Practise meditating on the Word of God. When you study the Word, don’t just read through; capture it into your heart, and learn to give the Word first place in your life.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the glorious life I’ve received in Christ Jesus. I keep my gaze on your Word, walking in the consciousness of my divine origin and heritage! Thank you for making me triumphant always, and in every place, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

THE WORD GUARANTEES YOUR SUCESS, BY PASTOR CHRIS

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES TUESDAY, 8TH DECEMBER.
THE WORD GUARANTEES YOUR SUCCESS.
This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success (Joshua 1:8 AMP).
True success is more than having a lot of money and a vast estate. Jesus said a man’s life doesn’t consist in the abundance of his possession (Luke 12:15). True success is the consistent and ever-increasing manifestation of the glory of God in your life. That’s why a Christian can be so successful, even though he’s in prison. Paul and Silas were in prison; they weren’t failures. Though they were in prison, they were successful. They manifested the glory of God, and lived triumphantly.
It makes no difference what your present situation is; you carry success in your spirit. The Word of God in you will take you from glory to glory! Absolute success is living in, and by, the Word; giving the Word first place in your life. If someone had a health challenge for example, and the first thing he thought of was “What drug can I take?” the Word isn’t first place in his life. If there’s a problem at work, and the first thing you think about is someone in a powerful position that can help you, that’s not giving the Word of God first place.
When you face challenges, go to the Word for guidance, counsel, and answers. First, be moved to pray. When you pray, even if you don’t know what the Scripture says about the situation you’re dealing with, the Word of God that’s stored up inside you will be stirred within you. The Spirit of God will bring to your remembrance His Word that’s in your spirit. He’ll stir it up within you. So, the Word is what you need; it guarantees your all-time success.
CONFESSION
My spirit is built up and energized as I constantly look into the mirror of God, and give the Word first place in my life! Moreover, my profiting is evident for all to see! Praise God! Halleluiah!
