JESUS; THE PRINCE OF PEACE
“For to us a child is born, to us a son is
given and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called
wonderful councilor, mighty God, everlasting father, PRINCE OF PEACE” Isaiah
9:6.
The above verse is the prophecy declared by
prophet Isaiah years before Jesus was
born. According to Isaiah’s prophecy, Jesus is the prince of peace; he is the
one to bring peace to the whole world. According to Isaiah, the government will
be on his shoulders meaning that him Jesus, and his ideologies will rule on
earth as the prince of peace. Most nations and people, who are struggling to
live a peaceful life, are struggling because they have not embraced the
teachings of the Prince of peace. He is the only one that has the right ideology
and philosophy on how to live a peaceful life.
Many years later after Isaiah’s prophecy,
Jesus arrived and declared himself: “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to
you. I do not give to you as the world gives, do not let your heart be troubled
and do not be afraid” John 14:27.
It only takes a man who has the solution to
talk like this. Jesus told us his follower that we should not be afraid,
because he is the peace giver.
Also in the book of John 16:33: he said “I
have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you
will have trouble. But take hearth, I have overcome the world”.
It only takes a prince of peace to talk this
way. Jesus overcame the world and all the kidnapping, bombing and hunger in the
world. He told his followers not to be troubled because he overcame the world
for them.
Come to Jesus all you that are troubled and
heavy loaded, he will give you rest. He is the one that knows the way, He is
the way, and He is the PRINCE OF PEACE.
